STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES
Tutor will demonstrate an ability to engage students in the
classroom and in learning groups.
Tutor is able to use a variety of teaching strategies and techniques
to deliver and/or review content.
Tutor will demonstrate an ability to engage students in the
classroom and in learning groups through role playing situations,
leading group discussions, collaborative learning situations, and the
demonstration of effective tutoring techniques which will be
critiqued by peers and the instructor.
Tutor will convey subject matter content accurately during informal
quizzes throughout the course in order to review and verify
understanding of the material presented.
Tutor is able to use a variety of teaching strategies and techniques
to deliver and/or review content while demonstrating the skills
learned for tutoring participants and the ability to develop a session
plan for each individual or small group

Students will evaluate different study skill strategies and apply
effective methods into their own learning.
Students will examine personal academic obstacles and develop
strategies for minimizing and managing those obstacles in an
educational setting.
