Dear Parents,
Welcome to third grade! I am looking forward to sharing a wonderful
and exciting year of learning with your child. There is a great deal to
discover and experience in third grade. I know this year will be a very
rewarding one for all of us.
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and welcome
you to my classroom. My name is Sue Lindquist. I have been teaching in
District #95 since 1988. I am very excited to be teaching third grade this
year!
I grew up in Warrenville, Illinois. Eastern Illinois University is where
I earned my undergraduate degree. I received my master’s degree from
National Louis University in Curriculum and Instruction. I also earned a
degree in Administration from Eastern Illinois University. All of these
degrees were achievements that I had eagerly pursued ever since I was in
third grade and knew that I wanted to become a teacher.
Therefore, I’m thrilled to be teaching third grade this year, and am
looking forward to a terrific year with your child! I am confident that by
working together, your child will have a successful year in third grade.
