Science
We have been working on
poetry in Reading and letter
writing in Language Arts. The
students have been discovering
the different elements that
make up a poem. In writing we
have been working on friendly
letters.
The meteorologists of Room 205
have been doing an amazing job
report the news on our morning
announcements.
Mathematics
This week we launched our new
Math Mod. We have been
exploring different strategies
for subtracting two-digit
numbers. We will continue our
work within this mod for the
next few weeks.

We have been discovering how life
was “Back in the day”. The students
have been working on comparisons
between then and now. Our trip to
the farm yesterday was a perfect
example of how different things
were back then verses now.
