They’ve learned about volume; what it is, why we use it, when we use it and how. Be sure to ask your child all about it! We’ll continue with volume next week. It looks like our Module 3 assessment will be late next week, depending on student need. Literacy · · Reading- We’ve continued to learn more about poetry this week. Students have analyzed some poetry to dig deeper and really understand meaning of a more complex poem. They worked with partners and had a conversation around a poem as well. Students took the poetry assessment yesterday and it will be coming home today in Friday Folders. They should be really proud of how far they have come in their understanding! Writing- Students are writing in their journals, and will be working on another narrative piece. Science- This week students took the Chapter 1 assessment and worked so hard! This assessment will also be in the Friday Folder today. As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns or compliments.
