Clinical Performance Evaluation (CPE) - First Year - First Semester
The CPE is worth 25% of the Radiographic Practicum grade. The CPE evaluation is given to the radiographer(s) to
whom the student was assigned to during the two-week rotation period. Using the CPE evaluation form, the
radiographer(s) will rate the student's clinical performance during the time the radiographer worked with the student in
the assigned room.
Grading System:
The CPE is worth 100 points:
Excellent Rating (4)
= 0 points are subtracted
Good Rating (3)
= 1/2 point is subtracted for every 3 rating.
Fair Rating (2)
= 3 points are subtracted for every 2 rating.
Poor Rating (0 or 1)
= 6 points are subtracted for every I rating.
Any grade below 85% is unacceptable in the clinical setting. The clinical instructor will counsel any student receiving
an unacceptable grade. If the student continues to receive unacceptable clinical performance evaluation, disciplinary
action will be taken.
