Details
A Hartnell staff member reported people
smoking marijuana in their vehicle. Security
personnel contacted the individuals in the
vehicle and told them marijuana use was not
permitted on campus. The individuals left the
area without incident.
A student reported to security that his lock was
tampered with. The man stated that his lock had
a red plastic piece attached to it, which was
missing. The man stated that nothing was stolen
from inside the locker.
A Hartnell maintenance employee reported
skateboarders inside the tennis courts. Security
personnel responded and located the
skateboarders. Security instructed the
skateboarders to leave or police would be called.
The skateboarders became agitated and began
yelling and video recording security. Police
dispatch was called to request an officer be sent
over; however the skateboarders began leaving
without further incident. The request for a police
response was canceled.
A Hartnell employee reported that two stainless
steel handrails were stolen off a ladder that was
used to enter/exit the pool. Fifteen 10lbs.
medicine balls were also reported stolen from
the pool deck area.

A Hartnell coach reported that a player from the
All Sports Camp was injured during a practice.
The coach said a bat slipped out of one of the
kid’s hand while swinging for the ball. The bat
ended up striking another kid in the forehead.
The kid was taken to a local hospital for stitches.
