We submitted an application for the 2016 grant competition on Friday, March 4th, and should hear back from the Office of Migrant Education (OME) sometime in mid-June. • Opened the doors to Mi CASA, the Center for Achievement and Student Advancement, which provides advocacy, case management, academic counseling and other services to Dreamer students at Hartnell College. • Officially launched the Men’s Institute for Leadership and Education (MILE). MILE is the male counterpart to the Women’s Education and Leadership Institute (WELI). • Academic year 2015-16 marks the first year of our new 5-year TRIO grant.
