DISABLED PARKING PLACES
Please reserve the disabled parking spot at the side of the school for
visitors and/or members of our school community who have been granted
a disabled parking permit and require close proximity to our school.
As well, please note that the transfer area marked with the parallel lines beside the
disabled spot is also reserved for people with disabled parking passes; it is a safety
area to allow for the safe transfer into or out of a vehicle for wheelchair users or for
senior citizens requiring a walker or other
support.
As per the ministry guidelines, the individual
to whom the permit is issued must be in the
vehicle and the permit must be visibly
displayed on the dashboard or sun visor when
it is parked in the designated accessible
parking space. Your adherence to these
parking regulations is appreciated, especially
by members of our community who require these spots.
