The students, guided by their teacher will integrate their faith and life experiences in the dissection of media and its potential
affects on their lives. Catholic teachings about morality and conscience will serve as a guide in this course of deep analysis
and scrutiny of media. Ultimately, students will examine and reflect on their own values, abilities and aspirations as they
influence their personal choices. They will be called to promote social responsibility, human solidarity and the common good
through reflective thinking and creative problem solving through the issues examined in the course.
Efforts will be made to meet the individual learning needs of students to promote student success
with respect to meeting the expectations of this course.
