 The Salinas Community YMCA has an opening for a Sports
Coordinator. The Sports Coordinator will be responsible for
promoting, organizing, supervising staff and volunteers all related
to programs that occur in the sports department. All functions are
performed in accordance with Central Coast YMCA policies and
bylaws. This is a part-time position with a pay range from $11 $14 depending on experience.
Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age, high school
diploma or GED or completed high school equivalency; 1-2 year
related sports experience and/or training in related field with
emphasis on youth programs, organization and office/clerical
skills. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts, knowledge of
computer software such as Excel and Word, ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from supervisors,
coworkers, volunteers, members, donors, parents and the
general public. Attention to detail and accuracy a must. Bilingual:
English/Spanish a plus. Must pass a background check.
