3. Opening Remarks:
This is a Concurrent Meeting of the Florida Fire Code Advisory Council and the Florida Building
Commission’s Fire Technical Advisory Committee. This meeting is being held via teleconference call on
Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 9:00a.m.
This Meeting is being held in accordance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 633.0215. The purpose of the
meeting is to discuss a possible conflict between the Florida Building Code and the Florida Fire
Prevention Code with regard to fire flow requirements for one- and two-family dwellings as depicted
in NFPA 1:18.4.5.1 of the Florida Fire Prevention Code.
