Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy.
In May, during Catholic Education Week, there will be a special celebration to honour Mary and to celebrate our students’ learning of the rosary.

The safety of all children and staff must be considered as paramount at all times when dropping students off at school. The number of serious incidents related to traffic circulation at the front of the school and in the Kiss and Ride area during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal has risen. These incidents include vehicles entering the site in the wrong direction, parking and pulling out of no parking zones, parking in bus lanes, to name a few.
It is imperative that all parents and guardians who drive their children to school adhere to the traffic circulation plan and comply with the traffic and parking signage on the site. It is equally imperative that all drivers follow the direction of volunteers and staff managing the traffic circulation on the school site. Thank you for your co-operation with this important matter. A special thank you to our Kiss and
Ride Volunteers who welcome your children each morning rain or shine.
Families and staff at St.
Simon Stock School were able to support many families, right here in our community, through their food donations collected for the Eden Community Food Bank.
Thank you to all those who were able to contribute!
This year we have the opportunity for our students to offer their assistance to those less fortunate then themselves by participating in
Operation Christmas Child. The goal is to pack a variety of items in a shoe box which will be sent to a needy child overseas during the
Christmas Season. Participation in this project is voluntary and we are requesting if donating items, they be returned to your child’s class the week of Monday November 9 th to Friday
November 13 th .
This week our gym has been going through a transformation. It is being painted to celebrate our spirit and faith. The gym is where we gather to celebrate, to pray, congratulate, acknowledge, learn, play and listen on a daily basis. It is the one place where we gather as a community and now the artwork truly reflects our school motto, spirit and faith. Thank you to parent council for their contribution to help defer the cost of this project.
