The Notre Dame Library wishes you and yours peace, love, and joy this Christmas. THIS MONTH LIBRARY NEWS DECEMBER 7 - 12 GETTING INTO THE GIVING SPIRIT – WITH STORIES! DECEMBER 9 Sometimes, we forget the value of stories. While we are busy looking for a reputable database article on violence in video games or a cultural overview of Rwanda, we often forget that stories of these topics can have the power to impact us and bring us together. The library is near bursting with graphic works, novels, and short story collections spanning a wide range of years and places sure to expand your horizons this season. Every day, each word we speak and every gesture we make towards each other builds our community story; if we told our story, what would we say? This Christmas, if you find yourself short on gifts and cash, remember that telling and sharing stories (your own, or from a book) can be a remarkable gift.
