Christmas Break
December 21st - January 1st
During Advent we share in the expectancy of Christ’s coming and look for conversion or
change of heart which is necessary to prepare for His coming. Each of us is instructed to
watch and wait. Advent is a time of quiet, joyful preparation for the celebration of Jesus’
birth. He calls his followers to make the world a loving and peaceful place for all to live
and grow. During Advent we prepare our homes and our lives for Jesus, the King of
Glory and the Prince of Peace. Advent is a time for prayer, and for giving active service
towards others who need our care, acceptance and love. It is time to set aside differences
and unite in peace and love.
Come, long-expected Jesus,
Excite in me a hunger for peace
Peace in the world, peace in my home, peace in myself
The staff of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta hope that the promise of Christmas helps to show
God’s boundless love for you, and that you be blessed with good health, prosperity and
happiness throughout the New Year, as we continue to work with you in providing excellence in Catholic Education for our students and the community.
We wish you all, the best for 2016, a year that is filled with hope, joy, laughter and the
love of God. Take this Christmas time, to reflect, relax, refresh and rejoice, in preparing
your hearts and mind for the year ahead.
Together, we can accomplish what is best for the children entrusted to our care!

To Send or Not To Send
Cold and Flu season is upon use. We
remind parents to please use discretion in keeping your child at home to
recover, as this will help minimize
the infecting of other children.
If your child is well enough to
attend school, it is expected they are
well enough to go outside for all
recess times.
Thank you for your support.
