Each of us is instructed to watch and wait. Advent is a time of quiet, joyful preparation for the celebration of Jesus’ birth. He calls his followers to make the world a loving and peaceful place for all to live and grow. During Advent we prepare our homes and our lives for Jesus, the King of Glory and the Prince of Peace. Advent is a time for prayer, and for giving active service towards others who need our care, acceptance and love. It is time to set aside differences and unite in peace and love.
