this year’s Athletic Banquet is approaching quickly and we need to gather information about our award winners. If you think you qualify for either the Multi‐Sport Award, the Athletic Letter Award or the Honour Athletic Award, please fill out the appropriate form and hand it in to the Phys Ed office as soon as possible. All forms must be in by Friday, May 13th or you will not be recognized at the Banquet. If you are not sure whether you qualify or not, you can consult your agenda book, or speak to a Phys Ed teacher. Tonight is the opening reception of Dufferin‐ Peels’s annual highschool art show “IMAGES” featuring original paintings, photography, drawing and sculpture by up and coming artists. Take a break from your CPTS, grab some friends and come to the Mississauga Civic Centre beside Square One between 6 and 8pm tonight to enjoy a FANTASTIC show! Attention all Grade 12 students taking the Chem 13 Waterloo Contest! The contest will be held this Thursday May 12th during Period 1! Please see Ms. Vayman in the Science Department if you have not already done so! St. Martin Catholic Secondary School was chosen to host the Greater Toronto Area Regional Drumline Competition. There will be a total of 9 heart thumping teams here for everyone to enjoy. The competition will be this Friday, May 13th 2016 during period 4. There will be a $2.00 buyout and wrist bands will be on sale during all lunches in the cafe. There will also be a BBQ on the day of the competition $5.00 gets you a burger, drink and chips. Seats are limited for the competition so get your wrist bands early and helps us cheer on our Mustangs! One band, one sound!! St. Martin’s Salt and Light Showcase is fast approaching! There will be a Period 4 buyout show on Tuesday May 17 and an Evening Show on Thursday May 19th. BUYOUT tickets will be sold in the caf starting today! The cost is $2! Come out and support our school talent!!! 8
