Eligibility:
Before a student is approved to defend and graduate, s/he must:
• Have completed all course work
• Have no outstanding Incompletes
• Have satisfied the foreign language requirement
• Have successfully completed the comprehensive exams (for dissertation track students)
• Have been continuously enrolled
• Be currently enrolled in the requisite number of thesis or dissertation hours (for thesis track or
dissertation track students)
• Schedule an appointment to meet with the Director of Graduate Studies
• Before a student is approved for graduation, s/he must schedule an appointment with Ms. Daphyne
Pitre to discuss graduation procedures and deadlines
