Take the % correct of each dish and convert it to a decimal.
Multiply this decimal by 360 degrees because a complete circle has 360 degrees.
Round this number to the nearest whole degree.
Set your protractor on the line drawn from the center of the circle to the left edge. (Line
up the point in the middle of your protractor to the point in the middle of the circle)
5. Mark where the degrees falls on the arc of the circle. (Use the outer scale of your
protractor)
6. Draw a line from the center of the circle to the point you just marked on the arc of the
circle. (Use a ruler)
7. Label that piece of the pie graph by: dish # and %.
8. Continue above procedure, continually moving the protractor to the next line you drew, to
draw the remaining pieces of the pie graph. (Be careful – you may have an overlap or a
gap when you are finished that is due to your rounding)
9. You may color each pie graph piece if you desire. (It’s up to you)
