In groups of 3-5 students, create a video-newscast for Univisión or Telemundo, the two largest public
Spanish Networks in the United States. Your newscast is targeting the Spanish-speaking audience in the
United States, therefore your report has to be entirely in Spanish and as authentic as possible.
Your newscast needs to include the following:

In this part of the video you will talk about the weather. Use appropriate vocabulary for the
weather report. Puedes usar ir a + infinitive para expresar el futuro.

Un reportaje sobre un desastre natural o Un reportaje sobre un accidente
Por ejemplo, un terremoto, una inundación, un tornado, un huracán, o un incendio. Describe lo
que pasó usando los tiempos en el pasado (el pretérito y/o el imperfecto). Por ejemplo, un
accidente con carros, peatones, persona esquiando, etc. Usa vocabulario “medical” del capítulo
5B.

Por ejemplo, con un jugador de fútbol, béisbol, tenis, etc. También, con el entrenador o/y los
aficionados de un equipo. Otro ejemplo, con unos participantes, (o la reina), de un concurso de
