Hit the Target Game
1. Players agree on a 2-digit multiple of 10 as a target
number. Each player records the target number on a Record
Sheet.
2. Player 1 selects a starting number less than the target
number and records it on Player 2's Record Sheet.
3. Player 2 enters the starting number into the calculator and
tires to change the starting number to the target number by
adding or subtracting on the calculator.
4. Player 2 continues adding or subtracting until the target
number is reached.
5. Player 1 records each change and its result on Player 2's
Record Sheet.
6. Players switch roles. Player 2 selects a starting number
for Player 1. Player 2 fills in Player 1's Record sheet as Player
1 operates the calculator.
7. The player who reaches the target number in fewer tries
wins the round.
