Program Description:
The associate degree curriculum (Reference number 226) curriculum is designed primarily to prepare the graduated hygienist to effectively practice as a respected member of the dental hygiene profession. The education also provides the student with knowledge, skills and attributes that will enable him or her to serve as a community resource in matters of dental disease prevention and sound dental health practices.
Career Opportunities in Dental Hygiene
Licensed dental hygienists provide education, clinical, research, administrative and therapeutic services supporting total health through the promotion of optimal oral health.
Dental Hygiene Student Organizations
The Student American Dental Hygienists’ Association (SADHA) is open to all students enrolled in the
