Play a favorite board game or card game together as a family. Eat breakfast or lunch with your child at school. Connect with other parents at weekend or afterschool activities (band, sports, and clubs.) 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 Check out your school’s website through your public library or at home. Donate canned goods to help other families in your school or community. If you are planning a trip, ask your child to figure out how many miles you would travel. Encourage children to help plan the menu for family get-togethers and celebrations. Enjoy family time together by creating new recipes using leftovers. Go outside together at night.
