I feel confident on some areas more than others in being able to perform required duties as a school counselor. However, it's hard to know for sure until I can actually experience the position fully. Needs more Emphasis on crisis counseling and treatment planning No comments at this time Very satisfied I believe the Nicholls States University program have prepared me for my journey in the counseling field. Three strengths gained in this program are 1.) better knowledge of theories, 2.) better understanding of counseling profession, 3.) helped to become more relaxed with working with clients through the practicum experience.
