TOM GALLAGHER CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER STATE OF FLORIDA August 5, 2005 IN REPLY REFER TO: DFSBP 05-05 TO: Agencies Addressed FROM: John Bennett, Chief Bureau of State Payrolls SUBJECT: Aspire-Convergys Labor Redistribution Interface Pay Period Information This memorandum is intended for agencies that use the People First system for payroll input to BOSP. To facilitate the future Aspire-Convergys Labor Redistribution interface, the pay period beginning and ending dates from Convergys’ payroll input file 0001’s will be allowed to flow into BOSP’s salary detail output files. This will be effective beginning with the supplemental payroll to be processed on August 9, 2005. This change will be reflected in: Payroll salary detail output file sent to CONVERGYS; Payroll salary detail output file to be sent to Aspire; RDS Comma Delimited File For Payroll Register, form ID R**9, report name PPRBCDEL; and PYRLSDTL table in the FLAIR Information Warehouse As a result of this change, new error messages may occur. Below is a generic example of an error message when the pay period dates received from Convergys are not acceptable. The “000000”s represent the dates received via the file 0001 that will “not” be used to populate the applicable salary detail fields: Generic Example: “INVALID BEG PAY-PERIOD: 000000 /ENDING PAY-PERIOD: 000000 DATES RECEIVED - STANDARD CALENDAR DATES USED” Additionally, this change will “not” be reflected in BOSP’s file 0013 (Agency Payroll Data) output files. This change will also “not” be reflected in output arising from non-Convergys input files.
