Date of Issue Job Description Job (Position) Department Supervision/Leadership Production Engineer Yes Exempt (Salary) or Non-Exempt (Hourly) Report to : Engineering Manager Reporting to this position: N/A Responsibility & Essential Job Duty No Engineering Department Operations Salary Hourly • Engineering coordination of new products development (New technology equipment investigation, Evaluation capability of equipment) • Coordinate new production preparation plan . • Provide progress and result for new product preparation /project in the department based on planned. • Provide Engineering support (Injection molding/ Paint robot program / Assembly) • Provide Engineering Improvement efforts to ensure efficient productivities and quality in the production. • Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams. • Motivate to having accountabilities and meet goals of department/companywide target. • Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill sales orders, meet Company goals & objectives, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion. • Maintains good relationship with customers and acts as primary contact point for engineering related issues. • Maintains documentation in accordance with ISO standard. Documents include process manuals, condition sheets and tool drawing control. • Follow company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices. • Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other department to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. • Responsible for any project that the department is involved. Cooperate with project personnel to achieve common goal. • Follow all ISO procedures and documentation. • Perform all other duties or projects as assigned or needed. Physical Requirement • Some physical exertion required. • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility. Requirement Beneficial Skills and Experience (Capability) • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Experience with developing/documenting procedures. • This position requires that the person be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can achieve results. • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations. • Must be extremely organized. Qualification • B.S. degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering desired. or 2 years of progressive manufacturing experience and respon sibilities • Must have complete knowledge of production scheduling and shop operations.
