Americans back all the way back to the

A ceasefire stopped the fighting on July 27, 1953. The war is considered to have ended at this point, even though there was no peace treaty.

Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ zone set up), is the buffer zone between North and South Korea. Troops are still on both sides of 38 th par. including American troops.

World after the Korean War. One of the world's most secretive societies, relies on self-reliance. Communist to this day.

MacArthur WAS BLAMED for China for entering the war. Truman fired him for insubordination!
MacArthur was removed from command in April 1951 and forced to retire.
