For August 25, 2014, please read the following pages in the text, Ethical Problems in the
Practice of Law by Lerman and Schrag (3rd ed. 2012):
pages 1-19 and 24-51.
Also please be prepared to discuss the following questions:
1. What is the public’s general view of lawyers?
2. What are the reasons/explanations for lawyers having a positive or negative image?
3. Are their steps that lawyers should take to improve the image of lawyers?
