ROOM 73

I.
Homeroom
A.
Be on time. Be in your assigned seat and quiet when the second bell rings.
B.
All stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. There is no conversation during the pledge.
C.
There is no talking during the morning announcements.
D.
Do not open or close windows.
E.
Do not adjust the window shades.
F.
Stay in your assigned seat until dismissal.
G.
You should not ordinarily need to use the lavatory during homeroom, but in the event
of an emergency, you are required to carry the appropriate pass and to sign out and in,
printing neatly your full name and the time on the pink sign out sheet.
H.
Food, drink, and book bags are never permitted in homeroom.
II.
MOLP
A.
MOLP stands for “My Opportunity to Learn Period”. MOLP is your time to start or
finish homework, finish projects, study or read. Talking detracts from quality work
time. MOLP is not a time for socializing.
B.
When 7th period ends, you have three minutes to return to room 73 for MOLP. Use
the time wisely to go to your locker and get all the materials you will need for MOLP.
Do not ask to go to your locker during 8th period.
C.
Food, drink, and book bags are never permitted in MOLP.
D.
When you enter room 73 for MOLP go directly to your assigned seat. Do not
approach my desk with passes or other requests. I will ask for passes at the
appropriate time.
E.
If you plan on seeing another teacher during MOLP or going to a computer lab you
must have a pass already signed. No one leaves MOLP without already having
obtained a pass by the teacher you plan on visiting. Plan ahead accordingly.
F.
Do not open or close windows.
G.
Do not adjust the window shades.
H.
Stay in your assigned seat until dismissal.
I.

Anytime you leave MOLP with a pass you are required to sign out using the pink sign
out sheet, printing neatly your full name and the time on the pink sheet.
