'BUMPY" ADVERTISING
Established by the Class of 1918
T h e efforts of zealous advertisers to bring to the
attention of the s t u d e n t body the affairs that they arc
sponsoring has led to a certain amount of inconvenience in Draper hall.
It is a condition directly within
the province of t h e c a m p u s commission and should be
remedied by that body w i t h o u t delay.
Large and ornamental posters hang in great profusion over the W a s h i n g t o n avenue entrance staircase.
They a r e depended from the air by a cord stretched
over the steps. E i t h e r t h e posters are too long or the
cord is not raised h i g h enough, for persons of ordinary
height ca.n almost bump their heads while those of more
than average length m u s t comb their hair after passing
up or down this staircase,
T h e commission has a duly to perform here. It should
act with despatch.

benefit from the convention's sngestions, said Miss I'eard.
