received a quota of new teachers when
the Slate College juniors registered for
their teaching a s s i g n m e n t s in the model
practice unit
T h e registration of the prospective
teachers lor next year and the assignm e n t to classes was made by the supervisors of practice teaching. Each student w a s assigned a class to teach during either the first or the second
semester.
