Welcome to the Intensive English Programs at El Paso Community College (EPCC). Our objective is to
provide students with a successful experience in a fast and easy process! We have various options to study English as a Second Language which are exclusively designed to help students maximize skills needed to learn English
successfully. These classes are non-credit courses and do not qualify for financial aid assistance.
Classes have limited capacity and fill up fast. Take the first step today!
Admission Process:
Students who want to register in Continuing Educa-

tion Classes (non– credit) can fill out the continuing
education application at the admissions department at
any EPCC Campus. The application is available online at
www.epcc.edu/ContinuingEd/Pages; turn in the complete application to the Admissions Department to receive your student ID number.
IMPORTANT: International Students: Go to
www.epcc.edu/registration and click on
ApplyTexas Website to create a profile and fill out the
admission’s application. Make sure to answer every
question correctly. Mistakes or questions left unanswered will create inconsistencies in your profile and
will make the admission process longer.
If you need to process your SEVIS-I-20 to attend our courses,
please visit the office of International Students at the Valle
Verde Campus at least six weeks before classes begin. You
will receive all the information needed to begin the process.
General requirements include:
—Have a valid Passport from your native country, pay 15.00
dollars admissions fee, complete the admission’s application and have official documents from previous college or
high school education.
IMPORTANT: Once you receive your student ID number,
you can schedule the placement exam at the Americana
Language Programs and continue while your application
for SEVIS I-20 is processed.
Once you received your student ID number, visit
IEP Classes
Each level of the Fast Track and the Intensive English programs include three courses: Reading/Writing, Listening/
Speaking, and Grammar. Please visit our website for current
tuition fees.
IEP-Fast Track– The full time program has six levels
($534.00 per level) which can be completed within a year.
 Monday-Friday 8:00am to 2:30pm. 7 Weeks per level.

an appointment for a placement exam.
-The exam has a $5.00 fee. (Please have your student ID num-
ber and a picture ID ready for the appointment and the day of
the exam).
-Before you present the placement exam it is required that
you pay the $5.00 fee. It can be paid at the cashiers department using code your appointment form with code: COMP. It
is also required to present the receipt the day of the exam at
the ALP Office.
 Students receive scores, a student orientation, and a registration referral immediately after taking the exam.
Take the Registration Referral Form to the Admissions Department to register.
Go to the Cashier’s Department to pay tuition; please
note that tuition fee does not include books/materials.
- After you have registered and paid you will receive your
class schedule where your classroom number will be available.
Payment is required at the time of registration.
IEP-Intensive English—The part time program has 12 levels ($267.00 per level) offered during the day or on Saturdays.


Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 12 Noon. 7 weeks per level.
Saturday: 8:00 am to 3:15 pm. 15 Saturdays per level.
Conversation ESL—This program is designed to advance
oral English skills. The emphasis is on spoken business communications and formal presentations. The schedule is Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. There are six levels
($138.00 per level).

Saturday: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. 13 Saturdays per level.
