IMPORTANT NEW REGULATION FOR SOCCER PLAYERS Effective July 1, 2008, all soccer players will be required to wear NOCASE approved shin guards. The standard requires the NOCASE logo must be visible on the shin guard, as well as the height of the tallest player that can wear that particular guard. Although that information could be stamped on the outside front of the guard, it will most likely be on a permanent tag sewn into the top of the guard. The logo and language must be on the guard, not on the box the guard is sold in. Players will not be permitted to play in games unless they are wearing the approved shin guards. There should be no problem finding soccer shin guards that are certified to the NOCASE standard. NOCASE has license agreements with NIKE, Adidas, PUMA, Diadora, Brine, Cobra, and Champro.
