UC TAP – Start Now!
Receive the benefits as soon as possible.
Students can use UC TAP to enter their course
work (completed and planned) from the very
beginning of their college careers, and provide
updates as they progress toward transferring.

UC TAP Benefits for Students
● Allows students to track their progress toward meeting
minimum UC requirements and major preparation
● Allows UC staff (at select campuses) to pre-evaluate and
assess coursework completed and assist in developing
academic plan
● Allows UC and community college staff to communicate
important information to prospective transfers
● Import academic information to the UC application

UC TAP Accounts May Be Required
Students need a UC TAP to:
• Participate in certain UC Transfer Prep
Programs
• Obtain an advising appointment at some
UCs
• Required to submit a UC TAG Application
