4.09.07
BUDGET AUTHORIZATION
No funds shall be expended in any manner other than as provided for in the budget, but the Board shall have the
authority to amend a budget or to adopt a supplementary emergency budget to cover necessary unforeseen expenses.
Transfer of allocations between line items within departmental groupings, with the prior approval of the College
President, shall not be considered an amendment to the budget, as long as the total budget remains unchanged.
Copies of any amended or emergency budget, when adopted, shall be filed with the County Clerk and the
Coordinating Board, Texas College and University System.
