PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: “Learning about the Community as a Community”, EPCC’s QEP envisions students working within the community of their classrooms to gain a deeper awareness of the greater El Paso metropolitan area. By completing assignments in key disciplines, and by working with entities in the community, EPCC anticipates that the students will gain a richer understanding of this region and their place within the El Paso Community.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for facilitating and overseeing the implementation, tracking, reporting and ongoing compliance of the District’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), a five year project that will enhance student learning. Oversee the design, implementation, analysis, and reporting of Student
Learning Outcomes (SLO).

Work in collaboration with Institutional Research and Institutional Effectiveness to develop survey and evaluation instruments to capture benchmark data; analyze data to ensure continued assessment is conducted through courses impacted by the
QEP, and analyze learning outcome improvements during and at the end of each semester to make improvements to the QEP/SLO projects. Disseminate assessment data, results, and implications to appropriate personnel and VP of
Instruction.

Provide support to faculty, staff and students in the areas of training, and program development. Develop and conduct workshops that assist in the creation and implementation of the QEP. Implement a system to track, monitor and evaluate the QEP.

Produce the QEP fifth Year Interim Report according to the SACSCOC requirements.

Recruit and market for QEP participants, to include developing and updating a
QEP website. Develop and expand community partnerships, including building relationships with business, industry and community leaders. Publicize the
QEP/SLO program through print and web resources.
5.
Provide support to faculty in the creation of measurable learning outcomes and with the development of assessment plans and tools. Work in collaboration with the SLO Task Force to provide feedback to the disciplines regarding “closing the loop; and implementation of planning recommendations to be assessed in future cycles.

Develop and manage the short and long-range goals, objectives, and budgets related to the programs.

Attend SACSCOC summer institutes and annual meetings. Attend regularly scheduled meetings with EPCC administrators and the SACSCOC team. Make presentations relating to the QEP/SLO as necessary.

Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct supervisory responsibility of assigned staff.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years related experience.
