Aggressive Acts by Students Towards Employees
If a student strikes a school district employee, a report of the incident must be called to the
superintendent's office as expediently as possible. A written report must be forwarded within
three (3) working days. After a review of the report, the student may be summoned to appear
before the superintendent for further disciplinary action beyond that administered by the school.
The same procedure shall be followed for any student who uses abusive, vulgar, or indecent
language to a school district employee, and/or makes obscene gestures to a school district
employee. The student may be summoned to the superintendent's office for review of the
incident.
In each case the superintendent will determine whether the case requires further review with the
board of school directors.
