NORTH PENN SCHOOL DISTRICT School Board Policy 4312 PERSONNEL Reference: Administrative Regulation #4312 Professional and Support Staff Prohibition on Use of Tobacco Products or Electronic Cigarettes The board recognizes its responsibility to ensure a safe and healthful environment for all employees of the district. The board further recognizes that smoking poses a significant health risk to smokers and nonsmokers alike. Therefore, smoking and/or the use of tobacco products or electronic cigarettes in any form is prohibited in all district buildings, on district property, and in all school district vehicles. Any employee who violates this policy will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include but not be limited to a fine, suspension, or dismissal, in accordance with the law.
