The New American Plate Challenge (NAP): 12 Weeks to a Healthier You will help you to eat smarter and
move more for better health and more energy. Learn the latest in how you can eat a mostly plantbased diet and do fun activities to get to and stay at a healthy weight. The NAP Challenge is based on
solid science and incorporates the American Institute for Cancer Research’s (AICR) recommendation
for cancer prevention and cancer recurrence.

WHOGA: Wellness, Happiness, Opportunity for Gentle Activity WHOGA is a gentle activity that brings all

Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis causes bones to become weak and brittle — so brittle that a fall or even mild stresses like
bending over or coughing can cause a fracture. The idea that your bones aren't as strong as they used
to be can be frightening. You will learn today about how a healthy diet and weight-bearing exercises
may help prevent bone loss or strengthen already weak bones. Learn about the Meeks Method.
Talking to other people who also have osteoporosis can be encouraging and helpful. Contact the

Parkinson's disease is a serious illness, but there are reasons for hope. People diagnosed today can

treatments that reduce symptoms along with things you can do to improve your overall health.
This group is open to the public. A support group is not a substitute for medical treatment or professional
counseling and it is not a replacement for family and friends.
Hip Pain

Despite its durability, the hip joint isn't indestructible. With age and use, the cartilage can wear down or
become damaged. Muscles and tendons in the hip can get overused. The hip bone itself can be
fractured during a fall or other injury. Any of these conditions can lead to hip pain. Join us today and
you will learn how to get some hip pain relief.

Seniors Helping Seniors

Would you like to become a senior helper? Seniors Helping Seniors is always looking for loving,
giving, caring, compassionate people to work with our seniors. Each of our helpers works as many
hours a week as he or she wants.
Most of the people who work with us were looking for volunteer jobs, seeking activities that would
add meaning to their lives. Working as a senior helping other seniors means you will be making an
important contribution. It also provides you with an hourly wage. No experience necessary.
Jitterbug Dancing

Encore Experiences will be enveloped with the aroma of ginger. Little gingerbread men and women
