- Review Career Pathway Vocabulary Activity Mat from first day
- Review the Careers in STEM slide presentation
Activities
- Allow students to conduct research via Internet and other library
resources
- Allow students to add to their career portfolio
- Distribute and review hands-on career exploration activity handouts
 Portfolio Reflections
Lesson Closure
- Review details of the entire STEM Career Exploration Module using
questioning techniques
- Explain the relationship between educational achievement and career
success
- Write the reflection and add to portfolio

WRAP-UP REFLECTION

In the STEM Career Cluster, we explored eight pathways: Advanced Manufacturing, Aerospace,
Biotechnology, Energy, Geospatial Technology, Information Technology, Nanotechnology, and
Robotics.
Scenario
Today you will take the time to reflect on the activities we have done and what you have
learned. This Wrap-up Reflection will go into your portfolio along with any photos you may have
taken of the different activities we did.
Instructions
Work on your own and write a one to two-page reflection about the activities we did under the
STEM Career Cluster Pathways; answer/include the following in your reflection:
1. Pick one or two of the activities that we did
2. Reflect on what you learned, liked, did not like, etc.
3. Explain why you feel the way you do about the activity
4. If you could go back and do it again, what would you do differently?
5. After completing these activities is there a STEM Pathway that you would think about
pursuing? Why?
6. How would you adapt the activity to be used to teach younger students about STEM?
7. Put this reflection and any photos you may have taken of the projects we have done into
your portfolio
