Dear Parent/Guardian: As you may be aware, students at Gwyn Nor Elementary School who have transitioned from Grade 6 to Grade 7 have gone to either Pennbrook or Penndale middle schools, depending on their place of residence and their respective middle school boundary. On Thursday, February 21, 2013, the North Penn School Board approved middle school boundary changes that affect Gwyn Nor Elementary School. Effective for the 2013‐14 school year, all current students who attend Gwyn Nor Elementary School will attend Pennbrook Middle School for 7th, 8th and 9th grade. This realignment will assist with the distribution of students among middle schools, as well as support the transition process for students as they enter their middle school years. The details of the boundary changes are outlined in the enclosed document. If you have any questions regarding these changes and the school your child/children will be attending for the 2013‐14 school year, please speak with your current elementary school principal.
