Discussion
The Reasoning Behind the Effects of Controls and the
Control of Global Business Behavior
When you control something, why do you do it?
What are the reasons for the control?
The same is true in controlling global business. Since
controlling something is based on the beliefs and
attitudes of the people in charge, the reasoning behind
controlling global business (or anything) is as multifaceted as the people who control.

about.
Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, in layman’s terms, was
brought about to govern and protect people. The ‘Lord of the
Flies’ book was referred to in the lesson. Can you think of any
other literary instances (books, poems, songs, movies, etc.)
that deal with an agency that is created to govern and
protect? What is it/are they and how would you connect it to
this lesson?
