Architects, in general, are
very important parts of our
way of life.
Certain architects have
been able to create very
significant pieces of
architecture.
It is important to understand
these architects, what they
have created, and how it
may have influenced others.

Research is investigating for
knowledge and
understanding.
It is important to not just read
and repeat facts, but to dig
deeper and try to understand
the reasons behind the facts.
When we research, we want to
focus on ideas and reasons for
certain decisions.
We want to try and
understand how the architects
think and why they created
their projects.

Presentations are formal
ways of communicating
ideas.
Architects always have to
present their ideas in some
way.
The nicer and clearer and
the more organized the
presentation, the better
your ideas will come across.

One of the more popular
and widely used ways to
present is by using a digital
slideshow (e.g., this
presentation).
Technology and the
advancement of software
have made it relatively easy
for anyone to create a nice
presentation.
