Butterfield COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT NEWS HUD awards ECSU $800,000 these Historically Black Colleges and universities were awarded funding: • Elizabeth City State University (Elizabeth City, NC) received $800,000 CENTURY LINK DONATES $25,000 CenturyLink provided Elizabeth City State University with a $25,000 donation in support of the University’s Aviation Science and Athletics Department. The gift will provide support for Athletics and Aviation Science. Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement William G. More alumni contributed to Elizabeth City State University this year than ever before.The Alumni Participation Rate of 17% conveys a significant message regarding the value the alumni place on the education they received at their alma mater.
