5 th Haldane Event, April 2006
Dear ASCR Members,
On Thursday April 27th 2006, Professor Jonathan Wolff will be giving a presentation on behalf of the Philosophy Department for our next Academic
Staff Common Room event. The title of the talk will be 'Philosophy at UCL since
Jeremy Bentham', and it will be accessible for those who are new to Philosophy, as well as being a challenging and informative evening for those with some knowledge of the subject.
The talk will be held in the Housman Room. Wine and light snacks will be served from 6pm, and the talk will begin at 6.30pm. It will be followed by a question and answer session, and then there will be an opportunity to socialise with other members.
If you would like to attend, please email me with your name, department, and the name of your guest, if you would like to bring one. I hope to see as many of you there as possible, for what promises to be an exciting addition to our departmental presentation series.
PLEASE NOTE: As this event will be held in the Housman Room, only the bar area of the Housman Room will be open for normal use on April 27th from 5pm onwards.
