RAG Ad Hoc Group on Collaboration with Other Organizations
REPORT OF THE AD HOC GROUP
The RAG takes note of the arrangement already made in the SMTPE and of the arrangements under
discussion as mentioned in Doc. RAG2002-1/5, section 3.7.
Based on Resolution ITU-R 9-1, the Director of BR is encouraged to take prompt action regarding
the request from Study Group 6 (Doc. RAG2002-1/2) to establish an MoU with ETSI for mutual
cooperation and exchange of documentation.
The Director is also encouraged to process additional requests as expediently as possible, once they
are received.
It is suggested that Recommendation ITU-T A.6 (cooperation and exchange information with other
organizations) and Recommendation ITU-T A.5 (including references to documents of other
organizations) as properly modified to take into account the specific needs of the ITU-R Sector,
may be useful as guidelines in performing this function.
