FG on Future Networks is pleased to inform you that we made good progress on Future Networks
(FG-FN) developing several deliverables including network virtualization.
FG-FN is trying to collect requirements and design goals related to Future networks, and it is
evident that network virtualization issue is the one of the promising technologies of the Future
Networks. FG-FN is working on this item and we are very pleased to inform you about our latest
outcome as draft “Framework of network virtualization”.
We appreciate further collaboration and we suggest having joint session during next FG Cloud
Computing meeting in September 6th. The FG-FN would like to discuss results of FG Cloud
Computing that relates to the requirements and design of Future Networks.
A web page has been created for the FG-FN with the following URL: http://www.itu.int/ITUT/focusgroups/fn/index.html containing all reports and draft documents for your information.
