SPAIDEN (General Person Identification)
There are seven tabs on this form. You may navigate between each tab to find appropriate
information.
Information located on SPAIDEN includes:
Current Identification: Lists current person information used by all university offices
Alternate Identification: Identifies applicant former name if applicable
Address: Address and telephone number
Telephone: List each telephone number provided
Biographical: Lists biographical data including citizenship, ethnicity, and date of birth
Email: List all email addresses as well as university email address
Emergency Contact: Optional form – may include information

SPAIDEN – Biographical Tab
SSN/SIN/TIN – depending on your role with the university this field may or may not be
viewable due to the confidential nature of the information

SOAFOLK (Guardian Information)
Form used to enter the name and address for the applicant’s next of kin.

SAASUMI (Admissions Application Summary)
Form provides general overview of applicant information.
Curriculum Summary – curriculum attached to the application highlighted above

SAAADMS (Admissions Application)
Form where the applicant application data is entered.
Please note – you must verify the active and current curriculum.
Application: Displays information from the application including Admissions Type, Student
Type, Residence, and Application Status. Curriculum may also be viewed from this tab.
Curriculum: Lists applicant program, level, campus, college, and degree. * If you check the
View Current / Active Curriculum box, only the current curriculum will be shown
Fee, Mail Submission, Withdrawal Data: change of campus, change of program, change of
term, or any other additional applicant data.
Checklist: Lists the items that are expected to be received from an applicant before an
admissions decision can be performed.
Sources, Interests, Comments: Used to identify certain extracurricular interests
Admission Type: View campus to which undergraduate applicant applied
Document Archive: You will view scanned application documents through the WebXtender
icons found on the SAAADMS form. See p. 17 for details of how to synch your password with
WebXtender and how to view and print scanned documents.

SAAADMS - checklist
Checklist: Lists the items that are expected to be received from an applicant before an
admissions decision can be performed
Admissions Request: Code indicating the checklist item being requested for this
application
Description: Description of the checklist item requested.
Received Date: Date the item is entered into Banner as being received.
Item Description: System generated description of the item.
Mandatory Indicator: Box is checked when the item is required before an application is
considered complete and a decision can be processes.

SOAHSCH (High School Information)
Form used to enter high school transcript data and college prep units.
High School Details: Lists information from the high school transcript. Also indicates the type
of transcript received.
HST1 – High School transcript at time of application
HSTF – Final High School transcript
HSPO – Portfolio Secondary Coursework – Home Schooled
GEDS – GED Certificate and Score Report
Diploma: Indicates if the high school transcript is in progress or final, if an applicant is
home schooled, or has received a GED
College Preparation: Will be checked is all college preparatory requirements are met.
High School Subjects: Lists the college prep units

SOATEST (Test Score Information)
Form where all test scores are entered or electronically loaded.
Test Code: Code that indicates the test type
Description: Automatically populates with the test description
Test Score: Actual score entered or loaded
Test Date: Date the test was taken
Admission Request: Automatically populates and is used to complete checklist item
Source: Indicates how the test score was received

SOAPCOL (Prior College)
All colleges that an applicant has attended are entered on SOAPCOL whether the
attendance was before or after the high school graduation.
Prior College: Displays the name of the college previously attended
* Note: If an applicant has previously attended more than one college, the scroll bar will allow
you to view all entries.
Admissions Request: Defaults to CLT1 and adds the entry on the admissions checklist
Degree: Indicates if a degree was earned at the previous college
UNK - can also refer to having attended but not having received a degree
Transfer Hours: GPA hours from the prior college listed
GPA: Cumulative semester GPA from prior college listed
 Note: This is not the cumulative GPA of all prior colleges – The cumulative transfer
semester GPA will be listed under a CUMGPA prior college entry that will then have a
CUMGPA degree record
 Note: If there are multiple degree details for a single prior college you may use the scroll
bar for more information

SOAPCOL – CUMGPA
A CUMGPA is created for every applicant regardless of the number of prior college
records that exist for that applicant.
GPA: The calculated cumulative grade point average of all college course work used for the
admission decision.
* This entry contains only the cumulative GPA – there are no cumulative hours

GOAINTL (International Information)
Form used for information about permanent residents, including the permanent resident
card number and the nation of citizenship.

SUAMAIL (Student Mail)
Indicates the correspondence with an applicant or recruit. This page shows if an
application acknowledgement letter, missing document letter(s), admission decision letter,
etc. has been applied to the applicant record and then, when it was sent (print date). Each
applicant does not receive ALL letters – just the letter appropriate for the specific
application.
 Once in the SUAMAIL form – you must next block and press F8 key.
 Print date – date the letter is ACTUALLY sent
 Correspondence may be hard copy or via email

SAAQUAN (Application Questions and Answers)
This form holds the answers to any open-ended question on the admissions application.
You can use the scroll bar on the right to view additional questions and answers. Questions
include: activities, previous address, essay questions, interests, etc.
Note: Not all questions will have answers, since some application types do not require all of
their individual questions to be answered.

SOAHOLD (Hold Information)
Displays Student Module holds placed on an applicant record. (Registrar, Bursar,
Residence Services, Financial Aid, Admissions.)
Note – the holds are DATE driven rather than TERM driven. For instance, the hold below
is on the account effective August 27, 2007 and will remain in effect for all terms until
removed rather than for a specific semester or academic term.
(Note: Hold information is also available in Self Service for Advisors and
Faculty Advisors.)

About WebXtender Document Archive
You must synch your password using a one-time procedure, the first time
you use WebXtender (see procedure below).
As transcripts and letters of recommendation are received and scanned, they
may be viewed through SAAADMS in Banner INB.
The SAAADMS checklist tab indicates whether a document has been
received.

Browse to your Kent campus home page.
Log in to FlashLine
Click the My Action Items tab.
Locate the My Banner channel.

Click the Banner INB link.
Type SAAADMS in the Go To... field and
press the Tab key on the keyboard.
The SAAADMS form will open. In the
icon bar, locate and click the Banner
WebXtender Solutions icon.
A message will appear saying that your password is being synched.
The document viewer may or may not appear.
You might get an error message, ignore the error message.
The purpose of this procedure is to synch the passwords.
Exit Banner INB by clicking the Close
icon.

Log in to FlashLine
Click the My Action Items tab.
Locate the My Banner channel.

Click the Banner INB link.
Type SAAADMS in the Go To... field and
press the Tab key on the keyboard.
Click the options menu arrow next to the
ID field.
The Option list will open. Click SOAIDEN.
Type the last name, first name, middle
F8 key or
name, and birth date of the person you are
looking up. Press F8 or the execute query
icon.
Double-click in the record row of your
person.
Click the Next Block icon to populate the
person record.
Click the WebXtender Solutions Icon to
open the document viewer.
Select a document from the list by clicking
its document icon.
Use the viewer Print icon to print the
document if you wish.
Click the Close icon to close the viewer
window.
Close the document list.
Click the exit icon to close the SAAADMS
form.
Click the exit icon to close Banner.
