6/6/15 Portage Co. Health Department EHS Internship or volunteer work
As you may or may not know, the health department works closely with several divisions of Kent State
University to allow students to spend time with us here at the health department. This happens through
both internships and volunteer work. Mary Helen Smith, our new environmental health director, is
currently looking for a student or students to intern with us (unpaid) in our environmental division. Both
undergraduate or graduate students would be considered. If you have a student(s) that would be
interested and benefit from interning at the health department, please give them my contact
