INSTITUTION RESEARCH BUREAU (IRB) APPROVAL FOR HUMAN SUBJECT RESEARCH
Once the dissertation proposal has been defended successfully, the student in consultation with the
dissertation advisor must submit an application to the IRB for approval to conduct research with
human subjects.
Notice of IRB approval must be filed in 418 White Hall by forwarding the email notification of approval
from IRB to Nancy Miller at nmiller1@kent.edu.
