New International Students Expected for Spring Semester 2014 FLA—14 students TLC—5 students Health Sciences —4 students Gerald Education Undergraduate— 6 Staying Connected to International Students Brings Rewards Dr. Ibrahim Al-Harthy sits in front of his Kent Sate Banner in his office at Qaboos Sultan University Sultanate of Oman funds Research for Was and Al-Harthy Dr. Ibrahim Al-Harthy (a graduate of Kent State University's Educational Psychology program), along with his former PHD advisor, Dr. Christopher Was, will be conducting research investigating the metacognitive awareness and knowledge monitoring accuracy of k 12 students in Oman. Dr. Was traveled to Muscat, Oman to conduct research funded by a research grant award by the Sultanate of Oman. Dr. Was will also be lecturing on how to train students to become more accurate in their knowledge monitoring. These lectures will be given at Qaboos Sultan University.
