DESCRIPTION
New construction housing for Quiet Ceiling round trimless fixtures.
For 12V MR16 Halogen lamps, 12V MR16 LED lamps, 12V AR70 lamps and
CMHMR16.
Insulation must be kept 3” (76mm) from all sides and at least 1” (25mm) above the housing.
SPECIFICATION FEATURES
Housing
18 gauge CRS with flat black powder coat. Removable housing top with tool less access.
Adjustable trimless mud-ring can accommodate 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4” & 1” ceiling thickness.
System Protection
Thermally protected. Vent holes in housing.
Electrical
Integral j-box and electronic or magnetic low voltage transformer or electronic metal halide ballast.
120V or 277V input. Junction box is U.L. listed for through branch wiring. Includes six 1/2 trade size knockouts. Transformer and electrical include easy tool less removal for maintenance.
Lamp
12V MR16 71W max. Includes
“POSI-GRIP” bi-pin lamp socket for firm, mechanical lamp connection, 12V AR70 50W max.
Includes bayonet base lamp socket or CMHMR16 20W or 39W
Includes GX10 TAL socket prewired. Internal rotation ring with locking adjustment.
Provides 360º rotation of trim and secures original trim position after relamping.
Mounting
Butterfly Brackets and GOT NAIL hanger bars included. Perforated flaps for secure drywall installation.
ORDERING INFORMATION
GOT NAIL hanger bars include preinstalled nails that easily install in regular lumber, engineered lumber, and laminated beams. Safety and guidance system prevents snagging, ensures smooth straight nail penetration and allows bar hangers to be easily removed if necessary. Automatic levelling flange aligns the housing and lets you hold the housing in place with one hand while driving the nails. Housing can be positioned at any point within a 24” (609mm) joist span. Pass-
N-Thru™ feature allows bar hangers to be shortened without removing from plasterframe. Score lines allow “tooless” shortening for 12”
(305mm) joists. Integral T-bar clip snaps onto T-bars with no additional clips required.
